Best Books For Toddlers

Before Baby 1 was born, I already had a pretty big library of children's books waiting for him. However, some book were not as great as I hoped. Some were too short, had weak stories, or were way too long.  Here are some books that are sure to please both mama and little.

Books for Younger Toddler

Of course I myself, I really love Llama Llama Red Pajama. I can really relate to the mama llama in the story.

Time for Hug is a cute story about how the bunny family spends their day.

Little Blue Truck is my boy's favorite book. The little blue truck teaches the importance of being friendly and kind.

Guess How Much I Love You is a classic story. It is a bit of tongue twister with Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare but  the book is still very cute.

Barnyard Dance is very cute book. There isn't a story but it is a good way to teach your little different animal names.

Giraffes Can't Dance is a great story about a clumsy giraffe that really wants to dance.

The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear is such a fun and cute story. Little mouse needs help keeping the strawberry away from the hungry bear.

Books for Older Toddlers or With Longer Attention Spans

The Day The Crayons Quit is a book I can't wait to read to my oldest.

If You Give A Mouse A Cookie is just a silly little book that older toddlers will think is funny.

Good Night Moon is in this list because the book is a bit long even if it is simple making it more ideal for the older toddler.

These are just my top picks for toddler books. I know there are so many out there. Do you and your toddler have a favorite book? If so, what is it?
