February Recap and Favorites
This month I took some time off from blogging. I'm really trying to figure out what I want this blog to be about. I also wanted to see what posts were still bringing in traffic and how much traffic I bring in through old posts. I was happy to see I can bring in substantial traffic without writing very many posts. Still not sure about the direction of the blog. I really want this blog to inspire women to live a life they love, not just live. I plan on staying a lifestyle blog, I'm just trying to narrow down a bit. I need to have a clearer focus.
Here are the three posts that had the most page views this month.
Gestational Diabetes Sample Meal Plan: Pretty straight forward post about what I ate when I had gestational diabetes.
A Beginners Guide To Self Care: This is comprehensive guide on self care.
Pretty Polishes For Spring and Summer: My favorite nail polishes for the upcoming season.
This month I am going to share a bunch of my favorites and the like. Also some of these links might be affiliate links. If you chose to make a purchase, I will get a very small commission, at no added cost to you.
Gingered Turkey Meatballs in Lemongrass Broth: This is a Sun Basket recipe that my husband I both loved.
Peanut Chicken Zucchini Noodles: This is such a yummy dish. It is a great way to make zoodles taste delicious.
Chicken and Brussels Sprouts With Mustard Sauce: This is the only way I can get my husband to eat Brussels sprouts.
Andis At Home (sponsored): I was fortunate enough to receive the HeadStyler Adjustable Blade Haircutting Kit. My husband and my toddler both seem to need a haircut every time I turn around. Taking them both to get their haircut all the time, can really add up. I am excited and nervous about trying to do an at home haircut. I think I will practice on my husband first. If I mess up we can always cut it shorter. After practicing on the hubby and watching a million You Tube videos, I will do the toddler's hair. Fingers crossed!
Hydro Flask: I got my husband one for Christmas and decided I really wanted one for myself. Yes, they are expensive for a water bottle but they are so worth it! It keeps my drink cold for a really long time which is nice when I am out and about or at the gym.
Nike Women's Free Flynit: I am not a sneaker person but I do like to have good shoes for when I workout. These have great support and are lightweight. Perfect for my needs. You really should try them.
Mallory Front- Back Earrings: I love these earrings but I will be honest, I've never paid more than $20 for a pair of earrings because I tend to lose them.
Clarks Candra Light Flat: I have a very hard time finding shoes for my feet. I have to have arch support or my feet will ache for days. That rules out a lot of cute shoes or inexpensive shoes. I like these because the look a lot like the Kate Spade flats but have more support.
Herbivore Blue Tansy AHA Resurfacing Clarity Mask: I've been seeing this everywhere and really want to try it. If it came in a smaller size, I would buy it in a second.
